Casey Matthews - DJ, Emcee
Casey was born and raised in Cambridge and has always had a passion for music and people. After high school he attended Mass Bay Community College for two years followed by two years at Worcester State College where he earned his degree in Communications. Casey is also a teen and pre-teen youth worker at the Moore Youth Center in Cambridge. He performs at all of their functions and parties and really enjoys giving back to the community.
During his time at Worcester State, Casey started his own radio show featuring top 40, dance, and R&B music for all of his classmates. He was quickly a big hit and began building a reputation as a great DJ and personality. He naturally progressed into hundreds of house parties and moved into the night club scene where he built and maintained a loyal following.
As a DJ for twenty years, Casey prides himself on being a true professional at all times. Our clients enjoy his laid back personality, along with his passion and knowledge for great music. Along with the functions and parties he performs for the City of Cambridge, he is also the resident DJ at Tommy Doyle’s in Harvard Square. In 2006 they were voted “Best Dance Club” by CitySearch.com.
