"I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for everything C-Zone provided for Justin's and my wedding this past Saturday. The day could not have turned out better! I have never had so much fun at a wedding (I am biased, I know!) and judging by the crowd we had, I know they had an unbelievable time! The uplighting was beautiful and it really created a fantastic feel at Wedgewood. I was talking to Kerri Macaluso at Wedgewood Pines and she was hoping that more people would use it because of how great it turned out!
But I really want to express to you how lucky you are to have Max Baun working for you. I have never met someone as professional as Max. From the moment we met Max up until the last hug, he bent over backwards for us. Whenever we met with Max, he always made the journey to meet us in Quincy. He always told us he "would be in the neighborhood" for our meetings but I know that wasn't the case and he drove from the North Shore to meet us on the South Shore. He was so thorough and detailed with us-from which versions of songs we wanted for the wedding to what color tie he would wear to fit in.
Max also checked in periodically with me all night to see how I thought things were going (awesome!) and he was always reading the crowd for what he thought they wanted to hear. We had quite the dancing group which, honestly, surprised me. I have some friends that go to weddings and are always the people sitting at tables never really dancing-that wasn't the case at our wedding. Even these friends were up dancing and having the time of their lives. I know I couldn't have been the only reason for their enthusiasm! Max took requests that pumped up the crowd and song after song, we kept the party going!
What I also greatly appreciated was Max's willingness to find some Persian music for our wedding. Justin's family is partly Persian and having some music to have them dance to was important. Max was able to incorporate both traditional Persian dances and current pop Persian dances into the wedding that just flowed with the rest of the music.
I could go on and on about Max. He really showed us how much he wanted to be a part of this wedding and I loved every moment of the wedding. C-Zone Music, along with Max, really made our wedding day that much more spectacular and I am forever grateful for that. I know that if anyone is looking for a DJ/music, I will recommend C-Zone every time!"

"I recently used Max Baun from C-Zone Music and I have to say he was AMAZING!!! HE MADE MY WEDDING WONDERFUL!!!! When I first got engaged I had a nightmare that I had a DJ who played all horrible music at my wedding and I woke up in a cold sweat. Seriously, (I'm a control freak about music, especially when it came to my wedding.) I told Max this in our first conversation and he assured me he'd play what I wanted. Throughout the months leading up to my wedding I heard horror stories of bad DJs playing horrible music, or not playing what people asked them too, or just not showing up for weddings! I was so scared. I took lots of time arranging what I wanted played and was in communication with Max up until the day before the wedding. HE IS AWESOME. He is soooo nice and cool and put up with my craziness, (hell, I'd hang out with him if I lived in MA). I cannot say enough great things about him. He knew exactly the kind of vibe I wanted at my wedding and I would use him again over and over and over. All my guests were dancing the whole time and he was so professional about everything, I can't say enough about him. He also brought an assistant that was very nice and helpful as well. I'm not a friend of his or wasn't put up to writing this. I am someone who wants to spread the wealth of a great experience, especially at an event as important as a wedding. He even made two cds of our wedding music for us to have, so nice. Thanks Max, I'll never forget how much fun you made our wedding day!"

"Max Baun was the DJ/MC at our daughter's Bat Mitzvah on March 3, 2010. Max was awesome! He is very client oriented, extremely responsive and delivered a top notch performance. For us, it was important to have lots of energy and dancing at the party, so selecting the MC/DJ was the highest priority, even before venue choice. We interviewed about 10 candidates, 6 of them also at a face-to-face meeting. Max was the first we met with, and we liked him right away. He remained our top selection after all the meetings - and we made the right decision!
During the process of preparing for the event (and we had only 3 months to do it), Max was extremely responsive and attentive. He focused on what was important to us, with respect to style, music and timeline. He met with us quite a few times. I offered to do it by phone, but he proposed to come over to work with us - and he did. My daughter is very much into music, so he worked with her on music for the evening; we also gave him songs we wanted him to play and he worked with us based on his experience to see if and where they fit. Max also went to see the venue before hand. He then helped us figuring out the lighting based on our needs. Any email or phone message was returned within a day. In fact, the preparation process was a lot of fun by itself.
On the week before the party, we were in constant communication to make sure all the details were finalized with the party, venue and stage set up etc. On the day of the event, Max and his team were there a few hours earlier to set up the room - and it looked great!
We had about 70 kids and same number of adults and Max had them all energized and engaged all night long. On the spot he tailored the music and games to the crowd and also played some music as we needed based on some last minute surprises some of the guests prepared. He mixed the music and dances so that it brought the kids and adults to the dance floor all the time. We had 5 hours of almost non stop dancing with LOTS of energy. The kids were totally engaged with all the games. There was one game that we asked Max which involves both adults and kids - something we had seen before - and he worked on it and delivered it perfectly getting all involved. Again, a testimony to how responsive and client oriented he is.
Everyone I talked to following our party told me they were SO impressed with Max and his team and how much energy there was all night long. Typically, when looking for a reference, people ask to point out what could be better. I have been trying to think about that, but honestly could not come up with anything. It was such a perfect night and mostly due to Max."

"The professionalism of C-Zone Music was top-notch. Max, our DJ, worked carefully with us to customize our music and wedding night logistics. He did an excellent job reading the crowd, kept the dance floor packed, and played what we asked him to & played nothing we asked him not to. There are two specific reasons why we booked C-Zone Music. First, the other vendor would not allow us to meet with one of their DJs without an up-front payment of $200. Secondly, the other vendor's website showed pictures of 'wacky' DJs. We were looking for someone professional and not showy. We got a great value and great performance with Max."
