Ron Hernandez is a seasoned veteran with over 22 years of DJ experience. What’s more, he’s been involved with deejaying since 1978. He has performed at hundreds of weddings and other events, and still loves to meet new clients. He prides himself in providing superior customer service, a professional presentation, and the most memorable party atmosphere to be encountered by all. From his pre-event consultations to his on-site conduct at the reception venue, you will surely be impressed by Ron’s professionalism, style, and tastes.
Ron has always loved music and entertaining people, and brings his years of experience to every function. His music knowledge is extraordinary. Music has always been his first passion, and he’s worked as a DJ throughout New England, performing at weddings, birthdays, parties, nightclubs, and radio. He has played at some of New England’s premier venues and has honed his ability to read a crowd and keep the dance floor full. Ron truly believes that he has been very successful over the years because of his mix style, fun yet non-overbearing personality, and his instinctive ability to tailor the music to suit any occasion.
He is also a very skilled emcee and public speaker. Ron’s experience in function emceeing assures his announcements will be delivered clearly and confidently, but he never oversteps his boundaries, and lets the music do the talking.
Finally, Ron also recognizes that he is not there to be the main attraction, or center of attention. So you will never find him talking over the music, playing games, wearing costumes, or teaching line dances, a DJ stereotype that Ron strives to avoid. He has always worked under the philosophy that if you play the right mix, the music will bring the guests to the dance floor.

C-Zone had been the DJ for all of our company's holiday parties for the last 5 years. Our experience had been that the quality of DJ service from C-Zone was consistently excellent. Greg (C-Zone), always conducted himself professionally, chose appropriate and tasteful music, was able to seamlessly adapt to our groups' needs and requests, and always made transitions that brought guests from cocktails, to dinner, to dancing with ease.
It was because of this that we had C-Zone on a very short list of DJ's for our wedding. Because of a scheduling conflict, Greg was not available, but was able to recommend Ron, assuring us that he was experienced, professional, and perfect for our needs. After meeting with Ron, we quickly realized that he knew weddings. Having dealt with lots of vendors in a short amount of time, we must say that Ron was on top of things. He was punctual, organized, professional, helpful, and really patient. We quickly ironed out the details of our reception, which helped to put us at ease with all of the other planning we had to do.
C-Zone has an extensive music collection, and really helpful planning documents that help to frame out the reception music. We actually adapted their template for use in planning out the whole schedule of activities. C-Zone and Ron helped us to work out the logistics and ensured that we'd covered everything. Not only did they have all of the music we wanted (including some obscure Spanish songs), they had a ton of other great stuff in their arsenal.
On the day of the event, Ron was on-site, set up well in advance, and was ready to go before the first guest arrived. His equipment was first rate, and impressive. He was the consummate professional. Many people fear that the DJ/MC will detract from the atmosphere, or distract people with unnecessary cheesiness, but Ron did a great job MC'ing and DJ'ing in such a subtle way. The music and introductions went perfectly.
We didn't provide a ton of instruction regarding what songs to play, but instead gave Ron basic feedback about how we wanted the evening to unfold. He took it from there, and the results were fantastic. The music during the cocktail hour, and leading into dinner was subtle, but not "elevator music". As people transitioned into dancing, Ron definitely felt the crowd out, and quickly adapted to what worked. In addition, he was able to flawlessly work in the few requests we had made, as well as those of people who came up to him. The true indicator for us was that the dance-floor was full all-night, and that many of our friends and relatives who don't usually dance were out there.
Sincerely, we couldn't have asked for a better experience from a DJ. Everyone noted that the music was superb, and made the wedding that much more special. We would highly recommend the live music option for the cocktail/dinner portion of the wedding. The caliber of music is incredible, and is a really classy touch. We get this every year for our party, and it's worth it every time. We regret not doing this for our wedding."
