String Ensembles from C-Zone Music

A string ensemble adds a touch of elegance to your wedding ceremony or event. Pairing strings with Piano or Trumpet adds even more to the experience.

The size of the ensemble is up to you. This section describes the most requested and popular line-ups. If you don't see something you want, just contact us and we'll be happy to put together a combination in line with your vision.

After reading about the different options below, visit our Classical Musicians page to hear samples.

Ensemble Description/Notes
Soloist A violin, viola or cello soloist. Optionally add piano accompaniment.
Duo Violin and Cello is the classic combination. A capella sounds great, but it's quite popular to make it a trio by adding trumpet.
Trio Two Violins and Cello or Violin, Viola, Cello. This is a traditional ensemble and works very well for outdoor weddings, events, and more. As an alternative, Violin, Cello, and Trumpet is one of our biggest sellers right now. Or Violin, Cello, and Piano.
Quartet Two Violins, Viola, and Cello. A rich sound that really fills a church or an outdoor wedding ceremony/event. Or you can choose Trumpet, Violin, Viola, and Cello. It gives you all the beauty of the strings, plus the majesty and "punch" of the trumpet, especially for processionals and recessionals.
Quintet Two Violins, Viola, Cello, Trumpet. The trumpet adds another dimension to the sound. Perfect for graduations, outdoor weddings, and cocktail hours.

As you can see, the combinations are limited only by your imagination. To hear and compare samples of various combinations, visit our Classical Musicians page.

Musician compensation is typically $250/musician for the first hour, followed by $100/musician/hour thereafter. Extra charges apply when an hour or more of travel from the Boston area is required. Call or email today for an immediate price quote.
